Heath Township, PA – Two people were killed in a house fire in Jefferson County on Friday morning.
The Jefferson County Coroner has confirmed that a 72-year-old woman and a 42-year-old man lost their lives due to the fire, but identities are being withheld until the next of kin are notified.
The fire started around 7 a.m. Friday morning on Route 949 in Heath Township.
Two bodies were discovered at the scene, and a third person was flown to the burn unit in Pittsburgh. The third victim is a 46-year-old woman. There is no word yet on her condition.
No cause of the fire has been identified.
