Eldred Township, PA – At least one victim had to be flown from the scene of a crash along State Route 36 early Thursday morning in Jefferson County.

Police have not yet released any names, but they do say that a pickup truck and a car were involved in the crash around 7:45 Thursday morning in Eldred Township.

STAT MedEvac transported at least one person from the crash site. The scene was clear by 9 a.m., with thanks to Brookville Borough and State Police, Jefferson County EMS, and crews from fire departments in Sigel, Pinecreek Township, and Brookville.

There are no details on what might have caused the crash, but it happened about three miles north of Brookville on Route 36, close to where a fatal crash had taken place two years ago.

Investigators are expected to release more information about this latest crash soon.
