DuBois, PA – Two DuBois City police cars were crashed into early Monday morning.

Chief Blaine Clark says officers had been handling a separate domestic case on West Scribner Avenue just after midnight early Monday morning, May 7.

The officers checked to make sure the driver was okay and called in backup from Sandy Township.

Listen to the interview with DuBois Police Chief Blaine Clark.

Officers worked together to handle both situations. No one was injured.

One patrol car was severely damaged, and the other has moderate damage.

The driver, 32-year-old Bradley Witherow, is being investigated for possible DUI.

Chief Clark says it’s disappointing to see the patrol vehicles damaged, but they have backups.

To avoid any possible conflict of interests, Sandy Township will be handling the investigation into the crash.
