Brookville, PA – A man had to be tasered and is now facing charges of fleeing from police after a traffic stop in Brookville.

Officers originally tried to pull over 21-year-old Zephaniah Vickers of Brookville on April 27 for illegal window tint.

Vickers reportedly sped off in an attempt to elude police. He made several turns and stopped behind a home on High Street. He got out of the vehicle and started walking away.

When police told him to stop, he began to resist arrest. Officers say they had to use a taser on him to get Vickers to comply and to put him under arrest.

Vickers was later taken to the Jefferson County Jail and charged with fleeing and eluding police, resisting arrest, and several other summary traffic offenses.
