Clarion, PA – A DuBois man was caught at a motel in Clarion on methamphetamine charges.

34-year-old Jason Schoening had a warrant out for his arrest for a firearm violation.

State Police and the Clarion County Narcotics Enforcement Team were given a tip that he was at a motel in Clarion.

They found him there last Thursday, along with a vial of suspected meth, various drug paraphernalia, and items that are commonly used for dealing drugs, such as multiple cell phones, small plastic baggies, and a scale.

Schoening faces felony charges for the manufacture, delivery, or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver. He also faces misdemeanor charges of intentional possession of a controlled substance, use and possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a small amount of marijuana for personal use.

Unable to post $100,000 monetary bail, he remains in the Clarion County Jail. Schoening’s preliminary hearing is scheduled for today.
