DuBois, PA – Parking has been an issue on Overlook Drive in DuBois for a while now, and City Council is working on a solution.

The area is home to a condo community, and cars are regularly parked on both sides of the road.

If fire engines and emergency vehicles need to get to the area, they might not be able to fit along Overlook Drive.

Council members Randy Schmidt and Eddie Walsh checked out the situation and recommended to the council that they should ban parking on both sides of the road.

DuBois City Council voted in favor of being able to ban parking on that street.

City Manager Herm Suplizio says the residents of the condo would like to work something out about the parking issues with their landlord first.

They hope to find a new place to park so the street can be more accessible.
