Brookville, PA – A Brookville man is in jail after he allegedly planned to break into someone’s home, beat them up, and steal money and drugs.

A concerned citizen went to Brookville Police on Friday after the person heard that a still unnamed 22-year-old man say that he was planning to rob someone.

The citizen told police that the man said he was planning to force his way into a home, beat up the people who lived there, zip tie their hands, and steal money and drugs.

Then on Saturday, police placed a recording device on the concerned citizen and asked them to talk with the suspect again. They were able to record evidence of the man planning the burglary.

Before the man could actually commit the crime, police pulled him over at the Hill Top One Stop in Brookville and arrested him.

The unnamed man is being held in Jefferson County Jail. More details will be released later.
