DuBois, PA – The DuBois Dream is hoping for your support to help start their AAU (Amateur Athletic Union) and Youth Basketball Clinic workout programs!
Although tickets are already sold out for the benefit dinner this Sunday, you can still be a part of their basketball raffle to help kids of all family incomes be able to achieve their basketball dreams.
The basket raffle will be held in the same place as the dinner, on Sunday, April 22 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the JE DuBois Hose Company #3. You can still stop by to enter a raffle, make a donation, or just learn more about the program.
Again, tickets are already sold out, but you can still support them with the basket raffle and in other ways. Learn more at this Sunday’s fundraiser Facebook event page.
The DuBois Dream recently held a AAU and Youth Basketball Workout, with kids from under 10 years old up to 18-year-old students. Players from DuBois, Clearfield, St. Marys, Punxsutawney, Brookville, and even Indiana showed up to workout and compete.
Albert Varacallo, owner and player for the DuBois Dream, says he was happy with the talent that showed up and can’t wait to continue programs like this that help support all kinds of kids. He says he enjoys challenging them and making them better players.
