Sandy Township, PA – Yet another abandoned mobile home in the Sabula area of Sandy Township was set on fire in what is likely a string of arsons.
Crews were called out to the home along Judge Road around 1 a.m. yesterday morning.
The abandoned home belonged to 41-year-old Kari Stoneberg of DuBois.
No one was inside at the time, so there were no injuries. Damage is estimated at $5,000.
This is one of multiple arsons that have happened at abandoned mobile homes in that exact location. Three other abandoned properties were set on fire recently along the adjacent street, Timetobid Road.
Two building were set on fire at the same time on Feb. 16, then someone lit a fire at one of those same homes again on March 29. Another home along Timetobid Road was recently set on fire on April 10.
