Clarion, PA – A second man has been pronounced dead in a fatal crash in Clarion County over the weekend.

Just after midnight early Saturday morning, four people were riding in a pickup truck along Miola Road in Highland Township. They went over a culvert and struck a tree.

One of the passengers, 29-year-old Mark Marcucci of Middlesex, was pronounced dead at the scene from blunt force trauma.

Another one of the passengers, 23-year-old Kevin Yarabinec of Sharpsville, was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital but died on Sunday night.

There is no word on the current condition of the other two occupants of the truck, both of which were flown to Pittsburgh. Police are not releasing their names yet.

Troopers are still investigating the crash and what caused it. Police say more information will be released at a later date.

Yarabinec, the second man who had been pronounced dead due to the crash, had been a right-handed pitcher at Youngtown State University. He graduated in 2017 with a degree in criminal justice. Youngstown State University has made grief counselors available to anyone affected by Yarabinec’s death.
