Pennsylvania – A children’s Paw Patrol dress-up hat is being recalled due to a burn risk.

The Nickelodeon Paw Patrol Deluxe Marshall Hat was sold at Spirit Halloween stores, including those in our area, from November of 2015 to September of 2017.

Although the hat itself is safe, there have been four reports of the flashlight that’s attached to the hat overheating. No fires or injuries have been reported.

The hats are red with a yellow ribbon, with black and white dog ears, and they have a flashlight attached to the side. It’s a Paw Patrol-themed hat that was sold for about $13.

Customers are urged to remove the flashlight that came with the hat. Kids can safely play with the hat but should not play with the flashlight.

You can contact Spirit Halloween for a full refund. You’ll be asked to provide a photo of the tag, located under the ear in the hat.

Only flashlights with SKY 01292093 and date codes 1703RY01, 1603RY01 and 1503RY01 are involved in the recall.

For more information on how to get your refund or more about the risks, visit the recall report at the Spirit Halloween website or the report from the Consumer Product Safety Commission.
