DuBois, PA – Tonight’s opening night for DuBois Central Catholic’s spring musical, and they’re inviting you to follow the yellow brick road to the Land of Oz.
It’s a night of glittering green cities with golden roads, winged monkeys, munchkins, wicked witches, and friendship.
Dorothy is played with senior Becca Liddle, who journeys to the Land of Oz and tries to get back home to Kansas. Along the way, she meets the Scarecrow, played by senior Raquel Salada. Next, they’re joined by the Tin Man, played by Logan Clancy. Lastly, the Cowardly Lion joins the journey, played by Jack Volpe.
In addition to the human actors, this year’s play includes live animals. Chickens are in the scenes at the farm in Kansas, and Becca’s sister’s dog, Daisy Mae, plays Toto.
