Brookville, PA – Brookville residents still have questions and concerns about a coyote attack that injured a woman at Laurelbrooke Landing last week.
Wildlife experts gathered last night for an informational meeting at the retirement community to talk about what might have happened.
Speakers from the Pennsylvania Game Commission and Penn State DuBois talked about the natural instincts of coyotes and what to do if you see one.
Some residents still say that they’ve never heard of a coyote attacking someone like that without being provoked.
The Laurelbrooke Landing employee who was attacked got 18 stitches and a series of precautionary rabies shots. She’s reportedly recovering well and is back to work.
