Clarion, PA – PASSAGES, our local sexual violence advocacy organization, recently got a boost from Steeple Furniture through their Hometown Hope broadcasting grant.

Although no one wants or ever expects to have to use PASSAGES’ services, it’s vital that those volunteers are there to walk survivors through the aftermath of intense circumstances.

PASSAGES provides counseling, legal advocacy, accompaniment to medical appointments/police interviews/hearings/trials, and a support system through their caring volunteers who help survivors of sexual violence and their families.

Listen to the full interview with Tia DeShong,  community outreach advocate for PASSAGES.

PASSAGES is based in Clarion, but also has offices in DuBois and Brookville. If you or someone you love could use the help of PASSAGES, visit their website or call 1-800-793-3620.

Passages was a recent recipient of the Hometown Hope broadcasting grant from Steeple Furniture and Sunny 106, which rewards local nonprofits for their outstanding commitment to our community. Many thanks to Steeple for yet again donating to a worthy, local cause!

Dan and Sherri Steeple explain that they are always happy to help non-profits in our area and that it has always been important for them to give back to the community where they live and work.
