Punxsutawney, PA – Someone made off with more than $4,000 worth of electronics from the Punxsutawney Walmart early yesterday morning, then went on to steal more from the Clearfield Walmart.

Between 3 and 4 a.m. yesterday, an unknown white man took a wide variety of electronics, including computer hard drives, Roku streaming media devices, wireless routers, GoPro cameras, Blu-Ray Star Wars movies, graphing calculators, and other equipment from the electronics section.

The items were placed in a plastic tote, which was also stolen.

The man, who looked to be between 30 to 45 years old, fled the store through the lawn and garden emergency exit.

A second unknown person drove up in a dark gray Kia Sportage with an out-of-state registration.

The two of them drove to the Clearfield Walmart and stole the same types of items there just an hour later, between 5 and 6 a.m. yesterday.

The same people are believed to have performed the same heist at the Clarion Walmart on March 9 of this year and at a Walmart in Poland, Ohio, sometime last year.

If you know who might have been involved in the theft, please call State Police in Punxsutawney at 814-938-0510.
