Morris Township, PA – A Clearfield County man led police on a high-speed chase yesterday morning, ending when he crashed into a fence.

The unidentified 32-year-old man allegedly fled when police tried to pull him over for a traffic violation just before 11 a.m. in Morris Township.

He damaged multiple properties and also damaged a state police vehicle when he backed into the front of it.

The pursuit eventually ended when the man left the roadway and struck a fence at the intersection of Allport Cutoff and Shiloh Road.

He is being charged with fleeing police. The man also faces charges for endangering the welfare of a 27-year-old Curwensville woman who was in the car at the time. No one was injured.

The man is being held in the county jail until his hearing.
