DuBois, PA – A DuBois man remains in the Clearfield County Jail after reportedly throwing his mother out of the vehicle at a stoplight.

19-year-old Vincent Foringer’s mother says she picked him up in her car after he had been in a crash on March 16.

Foringer had been pulled over on I-80 for driving nearly 100 mph. Officers gave him the ticket and let him go, but Foringer crashed just a few miles down the road because he was upset.

When his mother picked him up and he started to say that he was going to hurt himself, she told him she was going to take him to the hospital for a mental health evaluation. When she stopped at a traffic light, he allegedly got out of the car, pulled her from the driver’s seat, then pushed her to the ground.

Because Foringer continued to be uncooperative at the hospital when police arrived, he was taken the jail on domestic assault charges. Foringer waived his right to a preliminary hearing and is awaiting his trial and sentencing.
