Brockway, PA – Brockway School District presents Hunchback of Notre Dame: The Musical. Quasimodo will squat among the gargoyles while trying to win the heart of Esmeralda.

While the musical takes the music itself from the Disney movie, it also remains faithful to the somewhat darker Victor Hugo story.

Families should be aware that there are some scenes that could be frightening or even disturbing to very young children.

Listen to the full interview with co-director Just Parson, along with two of the actors, JJ Ginther and Cody Kuntz, and Nathan Knox, who is a sound technician for the play.

Justin Salada, who co-directs the musical along with Justin Parson.

Brockway’s production stars sophomore Philip Shifter as Quasimodo, Skylar Monella as Esmeralda, and JJ Ginther as the evil Frollo. The cast is also joined by a chorus, help from the orchestra, and a crew who designed and built a visually striking set.

The show runs from Thursday through Saturday, March 22 to the 24. It’s $7 for adults, $5 for students, and free for children under 4.

Come out and support these talented young actors!
