DuBois, PA – A DuBois man has donated his guns to the police station because he says he “wants to make sure to end up in the right hands.”
After the recent school shootings and threats, Perry Dinger gave his two semi-automatic weapons to the DuBois City Police.
Dinger says he fully supports second amendment rights. However, he didn’t want to sell the guns because he was worried they would be used in the wrong way.
This is the first of this kind of donation to the DuBois City Police, but the chief says they are incredibly thankful.
The guns, which are worth about $3,000 total, will be kept in the cars with the officers for daily patrol.
