Job Interview Tips:
If you want your interview to go well, arrive with some time to spare so you have a moment to relax and get prepared. Showing up late shows that you don’t value other people’s time and might often be late to work if you are hired.
Print and bring copies of your resume and any other documents you might need. These should be carried in a folder or portfolio, not as loose pieces of paper.
Dress for success. Usually this means a suit for men and a pantsuit or blazer and business-appropriate skirt/slacks for women. However, if you are interviewing somewhere less formal, you might dress in more “business casual” attire for the interview.
Although job interviews can make anyone nervous, try to stay confident, authentic, upbeat, and focused. Going into the interview with a positive attitude can make a big difference.
