Curwensville, PA – A gas station/convenience store in Clearfield County is hoping to get a license to sell beer.

The Snappy’s Convenience Store on State Street in Curwensville applied for the license, and now it is up to the Curwensville Borough Council to approve or deny it.

However, council wants to get opinions from residents and other business owners first.

Some of those who are against approving the license say the parking lot is notoriously too small for the number of customers, there is very little seating inside the store, and it could detract from sales at other local beer distributors.

Council members encourage you to share your opinion at the Curwensville Borough Council meeting next Monday.
