DuBois, PA – Tonight at Penn State DuBois, middle schoolers from around our area will be competing the Junior Scholastic Challenge. It’s a battle of wits to see which team knows the most answers to all kinds of questions, from math to grammar to biology.
The Junior Scholastic Challenge is tonight at 6:30 in Hiller Auditorium at Penn State DuBois. The competitions last about 3 hours, with plenty of quick rounds and a break for refreshments before the final few sets of questions.
Carol Foltz, the organizer of the Junior and Senior Scholastic Challenges, explains the event.
She says, even though the students get prizes, most of the kids are there just to have fun and show off their skills.
The Junior Scholastic Challenge is tonight at 6:30, and you’re invited! It’s free to attend, and the students love when the public comes out to cheer them on.
The Senior Challenge will be Thursday, March 15, also at 6:30 in Hiller Auditorium at Penn State DuBois.
Come see if our kids know the answers and cheer on your favorite team!
