Clearfield, PA – The Clearfield High School was on lockdown yesterday after threatening graffiti was found in one of the school’s bathrooms.

Police and a K-9 unit searched the school but found no evidence that the threat had been legitimate.

Lawrence Township Police came to the school again later in the day for an assembly where the chief spoke to the students about the consequences of making these kinds of threats.

Officials say they believe the threat was unfounded.

Classes and activities will continue as usual today, but many parents in the Clearfield area are still allowing their children to stay at home.
