DuBois, PA – Because we’re halfway through the school year, last night’s DuBois School Board meeting showcased some of the great things that are happening.

Oklahoma Elementary principal, Tammy Cook, says they hand out slips to students when they catch them doing something kind for others, then those kids are invited to have Cookies with Mrs. Cook.

Wasson Elementary principal, Kathleen Ginther, says similar things are happening at Wasson, such as the Kindness Challenge.

Families and community members are always encouraged to come to school board meeting to share their thoughts and stay informed with what’s happening.

The next work session will be held on March 15 at the Oklahoma Elementary cafeteria at 7 p.m. The next voting session will be March 22 at 7 p.m. at the DuBois Administrative Building near the Middle School.
