Clearfield, PA – A Coalport man has been sentenced to state prison on methamphetamine charges.

26-year-old Christopher McBride pleaded guilty to possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance. He’ll spend 9 months to 3 years in prison.

McBride was pulled over in February of last year for an expired registration. He admitted to police that he was driving with a suspended license and that he had active warrants for his arrest.

They found a small baggie of meth in his pocket.

The investigation into McBride helped lead to the arrest of another man, 30-year-old Evan Schenk of Clearfield. Schenk is serving 1 to 3 years in state prison on meth charges.
