Clearfield, PA – A Clearfield teen is facing felony charges after allegedly fleeing from police officers on Sunday.

Police attempted to pull over 19-year-old Christian Graham in Bradford Township after he had committed several traffic violations, including going more than 60 miles-per-hour in a 40 zone and having an expired registration. Graham reportedly attempted to flee when the patrol car turned on its lights.

The chase continued through the Woodland and Clearfield area. At one point, Graham struck a guardrail on Old Erie Pike. Police got out of their vehicles to arrest him, thinking that the pursuit was over, but Graham allegedly backed his vehicle into one of the patrol cars and then drove away.

The pursuit finally ended on Route 879 near Airport Road in Clearfield, miles from where it had started, when Graham struck an embankment. He tried to flee again, but police were able to capture him.

When they searched him, officers reportedly found drug paraphernalia, including a razor blade, plastic straw, and part of an unidentified orange pill.

Graham has been charged with felony aggravated assault for striking multiple police vehicles, plus misdemeanors for possession of drug paraphernalia, recklessly endangering another person, and fleeing or attempting to elude police. He’s being held on $50,000 bail. Graham’s preliminary hearing is scheduled for Feb. 7.
