On January 18th Brookville Police were called to an assault on a three-year-old minor. The police investigated and found the minor was strangled and struck in the head and face by a 36-year-old male. Police secured an arrest warrant for the man and after a three hour standoff, police entered the residence and took the male into custody without issue.
