DuBois, PA – Congratulations and thank you to the DuBois Honor Guard for being a recent Hometown Hope recipient from Steeple Furniture of Rockton and Sunny 106.

The DuBois Honor Guard provides services any time there is a funeral for a local veteran.

They also hold ceremonies for all military holidays, such as Veterans Day, 9/11, Pearl Harbor Day, Labor Day, Memorial Day, and more. They even lead the way at the DuBois Community Days parade.

Listen as Dan Kalgren, commander of DuBois VFW Post 813, talks about how the DuBois Honor Guard make sure no veteran is forgotten.

That’s why Steeple Furniture recently chose to celebrate this group of volunteers by making the DuBois Honor Guard a recipient of the Hometown Hope broadcasting grant from Steeple Furniture and Sunny 106.

This grant rewards local nonprofits for their outstanding commitment to our community.

Listen to Dave Ball from Steeple Furniture talk about why they give these donations to our local organizations.

Many thanks to Steeple for yet again donating to a worthy, local cause!
