McCalmont Township, PA – Our community is pulling together to support the family of a baby with a rare chromosome disorder.

Most babies with Triploid Syndrome don’t live to birth or pass away shortly after, but little Harper Elizabeth Toven is nearly 7 months old now and is what her family calls “a living miracle.”

Visit the family’s website to learn more about Harper and her family.

Dave Wruble, owner of the The Sub Hub in Reynoldsville, says it’s time to give back to a family who has always supported others.

Along with the disorder comes a lot of hospital bills and travel expenses.

You can support the Toven family by going to a benefit ham dinner this Sunday at 11 a.m. at the McCalmont Township Volunteer Fire Company in Anita.

Let the family know you’re attending the dinner at their Facebook event page.

Enjoy a delicious ham dinner for any monetary donation.

All proceeds will benefit Harper and her family.

You’ll also enjoy live music from the Sharptones, basket raffle, and a recliner from Freedom Furniture that will be raffled off.
