Treasure Lake, PA – Treasure Lake is looking for bids to lease and operate what used to be The Ski Lodge. The restaurant and tavern is a 14,000-square-foot facility that closed in late April.

Bids for The Ski Lodge have to be turned in to the Treasure Lake Property Owners Association by Jan. 30. at the TLPOA offices, 13 Treasure Lake, DuBois.

Bids received after noon on Jan. 30 will not be accepted.

Bids must be in a sealed envelope, addressed to Colin McIllwain, Assistant General Manager, TLPOA, 13 Treasure Lake, DuBois.

Bids will be opened privately, and the owner will contact the winner of the contract.

The lease contract does not necessarily have to go to the highest bid, and Treasure Lake is allowed to choose whatever company they think will serve in the best interests of the community.

They have the right to postpone or cancel receipt of bids and to accept or reject any and all bids.

All prices quoted in the bids must be valid for 60 days after the bid opening date and must include all taxes, freight, and delivery charges.

Treasure Lake ended the agreement with George Moore in April of 2017. He had been the general manager of The Ski Lodge for the past 16 years. Moore has now opened Gateway Café on Maple Avenue in DuBois.
