DuBois, PA – State Rep. Matt Gabler only has a couple of weeks left in Pennsylvania before he begins his deployment to the Middle East, as part of his service as a captain in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard.

He’s expected to be overseas for most of 2018. He explains part of what he’ll be doing there.

We will be getting occasional updates from Gabler as he serves overseas.

Gabler says his office as state representative will work as usual during that time, and he has made preparations ahead of time so legislation continues smoothly.

His wife, Lisa, and 1-year-old daughter, Caroline, will be left here at home.

Gabler says he’s thankful for everyone in our community who are thinking about him and supporting him while he’s serving.
