Erie, PA – Snow continues to fall in Erie and surrounding areas that already have seen a record amount of snow over the past few days, prompting a disaster emergency declaration.
Erie County officials signed the “declaration of disaster emergency” into effect, which they say will allow them to get resources into the area more efficiently.
Forecasters are predicting that, while the snow is starting to die down, snow showers are still expected to last in Erie until at least the middle of next week.
The National Guard could come into northwest Pennsylvania to bring supplies soon.
