Clearfield, PA – A Clearfield County man has been charged for pointing a shotgun at his wife and punching her during an argument earlier this month.

Police were called at to the Osceola Mills home of 52-year-old Mark Earnest and his wife around 3 in the morning on Dec. 11.

Earnest had allegedly pointed the shotgun at her, and she cut her hand on the gun’s sight when she tried to pull it away from him. She also says he punched her and gave her a bloody nose.

Earnest is facing charges of terroristic threats, simple assault, and harassment. He is out on $50,000 bail. His preliminary hearing has been rescheduled for June 20.
