Woodland, PA – Elementary students from Clearfield, Curwensville, West Branch, and Moshannon Valley wanted to send some love to an injured state police trooper around the holidays.

Corporal Seth Kelly, an officer from the Belfast station on the eastern side of the state, was shot during a traffic stop in early November. He applied a tourniquet and saved his own life, and is now at home recovering after several critical surgeries.

Hundreds of handmade cards were delivered from the schools to the Clearfield State Police Barracks, which will them ship them to Corporal Kelly.
