DuBois, PA – A Grampian woman is facing charges for allegedly pulling a gun on another driver after a crash.

45-year-old Ashley Assalone reportedly struck another vehicle at the traffic light by the DuBois Mall on Nov. 10. The victim followed after her and confronted her, and police say Assalone sped off.

However, when the victim continued to follow her through the mall parking lot, Assalone reportedly stopped her car and got out with a rifle. Multiple witnesses called into police, saying that she had waved the gun and threatened that she would use it if the woman didn’t stop following her.

Police later identified Assalone by the vehicle’s registration. Officers say she avoided their questions and refused to talk about the incident. She is charged with terroristic threats and disorderly conduct. Her preliminary hearing is scheduled for Jan. 5.
