Harrisburg, PA – To balance the state budget, Pennsylvania has changed gambling laws to allow online gambling and games in truck stops and airports.

Even though the laws are new and will most likely affect larger cities, some smaller towns are already thinking the effects small casinos would have on our area.

Sandy Township has voted to note allow small casinos, and Brookville is still asking residents for their input.

Josh Ercole from the Council on Compulsive Gambling says he knows that gambling will always be a part of our culture, so the government needs to provide help gambling addicts.
