DuBois, PA – As Make-A-Wish week continues in DuBois, we heard the story of Isaac and Caleb Hansley, 12-year-old twin boys, both with down syndrome.
The boys grew up with many medical conditions, including breathing problems. Parents Tom and Stacy explain that both boys got a wish, Isaac first when they were 7 and then Caleb two years later.
The family helped to come up with wishes for the boys together. Isaac’s wish was for a swing set in the backyard, so the boys could have something to do together and a place to play with friends.
Caleb’s wish was used to transform a room in the house into a playroom, with toys that the boys love and even iPads that can help them communicate.
You can make a donation to Make-A-Wish at our radio station offices at 12 West Long Avenue in DuBois all week long or give us a call at 814-372-1065, and don’t forget to bid on the auction items, happening live this Friday.
