Punxsutawney, PA – Officials are still trying to determine what caused the fire that destroyed a home in Punxsutawney two weeks ago.

A home on Pine Street caught fire on Nov. 8 while two people were home. One was taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation and another wasn’t injured.

The flames seem to have started in the laundry room, but the cause has yet to be determined.

The home is owned by 70-year-old Virginia Dendy of Marlinton, WV. Damage was estimated at $100,000.
