Jefferson County, PA – Four school districts have been awarded a total of $116,270 in Safe School Grants, which will help provide better security systems and emergency training for schools.

In the 66th Legislative District (Jefferson and Indiana counties), Brookville, DuBois, Jeff Tech, and Marion Center will all benefit.

Brookville Area School District will receive $16,656 for school safety equipment.

DuBois Area School District will receive $19,614 for school safety equipment.

Jeff Tech will receive $40,000 for school police or resource officer.

Marion Center Area School District will receive $40,000 for school police or resource officer.
