St. Marys, PA – Police in St. Marys are hoping that drivers will swap tickets for toys this holiday season.

As part of the Cops for Kids program, St. Marys police officers have the option of waiving traffic citations for minor violations. Instead of handing you a ticket, they’ll hand out a flyer that explains how you can drop off an unwrapped toy at the police station.

All toys will go to benefit Project Gifts for Elk County. Of course, you don’t need to get pulled over first to help with the toy drive! You can drop off a donation directly at the St. Marys Police Department, at 319 Erie Avenue, Saint Marys.

This specific program is just for St. Marys.

As we get closer to the holidays, we’ll continue to update you on where you can drop off toys and other gifts in Clearfield and Jefferson Counties, including locations for Toys for Tots, the DuBois Jaycees, Salvation Army, churches, and our local police departments.
