Clarion, PA – A Clarion woman pleaded guilty to her role in the continued rape of a child two years ago.
37-year-old Stephanie Andreas was sentenced to 12 to 24 years in state prison.
Andreas and 70-year-old Bassam Yakteen allegedly had an agreement where he would pay the bills and provide money and food for her and her family if Andreas stayed quiet about the abuse of the then-10-year-old girl.
Andreas is currently serving 2 to 4 years in state prison for conspiring to rob, mug, and attack Yakteen. That same investigation also revealed that Andreas had sexually assaulted a 15-year-old boy.
Andreas testified against Yakteen in her latest case, which may have contributed to a slightly shorter sentence.
The victim and the other children in the family have been placed into safe homes.
