Danville, PA – Making state news, a Pennsylvania man stole an ambulance with the crew still on board.
The ambulance had just dropped off a patient at the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville when a man jumped inside and started to drive away.
The two-person crew realized what was going on and jumped out for their own safety. 29-year-old Adam Zaharick of Kulpmont reportedly said he wanted to “put on a show” and was headed to steal some Oxycodone.
He hit a truck and then crashed into a pole near a CVS, where he then went inside and demanded Oxycodone pills.
Zaharick faces many charges, including robbery of a motor vehicle, robbery, and burglary.
