Rose Township, PA – A New Bethlehem woman remains seriously injured after a crash in Jefferson County on Sunday night.

30-year-old Marquita Wagner was driving her SUV along Route 28 near Brookville around 8:30.

Police say road conditions were good and there was no adverse weather, but Wagner lost control for unknown reasons. She hit an embankment and rolled the SUV onto its roof.

Marquita Wagner, a 7-year-old girl, and an 8-year-old girl were all not wearing their seatbelts. Wagner was flown to UPMC Presbyterian, and the two girls were flown to UPMC Children’s Hospital with minor injuries.

The front seat passenger, 24-year-old Zachary Wagner of New Bethlehem, was wearing his seatbelt and didn’t have any injuries.
