Pennsylvania State Police Captain Bernard Petrovsky wants to let everyone know about Operation Safe Stop, which will be happening all this week during National School Bus Safety Week.  Operation Safe Stop is a campaign to raise awareness to the public about the potential consequences of illegally passing a school bus.

This week, bus drivers are being asked to identify troubled spots in their routes and then Pennsylvania State Police will be monitoring these areas to watch for any issues.

Illegally passing a school bus can get your licenses suspended for up to 60 days and a fine of at least $250.
