DuBois, PA – Some proposed upgrades to the DuBois City Pool could make summer more fun for more people.
The pool already has a ramp, but they’re hoping for funding for a chairlift so it’s more accessible. The pelican water dump equipment is getting old and either needs to be fixed or replaced.
They plan on building a new bucket-style water dumping device that would also have a space underneath for kids to play, including a slide, water jets, and water guns.
If the project is approved, the City of DuBois also plans on revamping the gradual depth of the pool so it’s easier to keep an eye on kids.
There’s no official word yet when the project will start and when the pool will be fully updated.
