Cherryhill Township, PA – One person is dead after a fatal three-vehicle crash on Route 403 in Indiana County. The person is remaining unnamed until the next of kin is notified.

The driver of an SUV was driving south on Route 403 in Cherryhill Township on Friday just before 8 p.m. They struck a Chevy Silverado that was traveling in the opposite direction, driven by 42-year-old Jonathan Roush of Twin Rocks, PA.

Roush was flown to Altoona Hospital with moderate injuries.

The driver of the SUV was pronounced dead.

A Chevy Trailblazer was driving behind Roush at the time and struck the truck after the initial impact. The driver, 33-year-old Melissa Nagle of Nanty Glo, was taken to Indiana Regional Medical Center with minor injuries.

A 12-year-old girl was also riding in Roush’s truck and was taken to Children’s Hospital with minor injuries.

Multiple girls were in Nagle’s Trailblazer, but none of the children were severely injured. A 9-year-old girl was not injured. Two 11-year-old girls were flown to Children’s Hospital but their injuries were not life-threatening.
