Somerset County, PA – Police say it’s possible that the human remains found in Somerset County on Friday could be those of two men who have been missing since March.

32-year-old James Smith of Cambria County and 19-year-old Damien Staniszewski of Blair County went missing under what police say are “suspicious circumstances.”

The human remains were found by hunters in the woods in Conemaugh Township, Somerset County. The investigation is still ongoing, and a forensic analysis could take up to two weeks. Police do not say if there are any possible suspects.

Investigators are asking anyone with information to come forward. They’re offering a cash reward up to $2,000 for information on the missing men or the remains found.
