Bradford Township, PA – A Woodland man crashed after having a medical emergency while driving on Shawville Highway on Saturday afternoon.
31-year-old Shane Lauder ran off the road into a nearby yard, where his Ford Mustang struck a metal windmill lawn ornament.
His passenger, 24-year-old Destini Swanson of Woodland grabbed the steering wheel and tried to steer the car in a safe direction afterwards.
Swanson was taken to Penn Highlands DuBois with injuries of unknown severity.
Lauder was flown to UPMC Altoona for his injuries.
