Woodland, PA – While police were investigating the murder of 19-year-old Chase Anderson, they reportedly found that two people who were wanted for questioning in the case were carrying drugs and a prohibited gun.

On Aug. 31, investigators were canvassing the Clearfield area to find 26-year-old Chantell Demi of Woodland. When they pulled over her vehicle, the inside allegedly smelled like burnt meth.

Police say they found a revolver with a scratched off serial number that Demi had concealed without a license to carry it. They also allegedly found unknown pills that were packaged to be sold, along with a digital scale, stamp bags, and glass pipes.

Demi is facing felony drug and firearm charges. She’s currently being held in the Clearfield County Jail on $100,000 monetary bail.

The owner of the car said that her son, 36-year-old Denny Bailey, had taken the car with Demi and never brought it back.

Bailey is now also facing felony firearms charges. He’s being held at the Clearfield County Jail on $100,000 bail.

Demi waived her right to a preliminary hearing, and Bailey’s preliminary hearing is scheduled for Sept. 27.

No charges have been filed in the homicide case of Chase Anderson. Although police wanted Demi and Bailey for questioning in the investigation to gather more information about the case, police are not naming any suspects.
