DuBois, PA – A 70-year-old DuBois woman has been charged for selling marijuana.

Laurel Poulson is facing felony drug charges after she allegedly sold marijuana to a confidential informant in January.

The confidential informant started the deal with 21-year-old Hazen McCartney, who was going to buy marijuana from Poulson. The woman allegedly had six or seven pounds of it delivered from Oregon every other Tuesday. In the first deal, McCartney purchased the drug from Poulson, but in a second deal, the confidential informant bought the marijuana directly from her.

Another girl was inside the home with Poulson, helping sell the drug. She was eventually identified as 22-year-old Amber Jablonski of DuBois. Poulson allegedly sold the confidential informant a little less than an ounce of marijuana.

Poluson’s bail was set at $25,000 for each case. Jablonski had her bail set at $50,000.

Poulson and Jablonski both have their preliminary hearings scheduled for this Friday. McCartney is also facing drug charges, though it is unclear when he will be in court next.
